finally! i've stepped on the Chinese ground in my 18 years of life!
i'm currently at DongGuan, a province in China. It's totally opposite from what i've imagined. It's fairly a developed area, a better place than the smaller grounds of taiwan!

There's loadx and loadx of things and photos i wanna blog about!!! it's super overloaded! Guess when i'm back in Singapore, i'll be busy doing all that! (:

As for now, i shall just blog about what i did these 2 days in Dong Guan.

First, DongGuan doesn't have a airport so i have to stop at either of the area, ShenZhen, GuangZhou, Hong Kong, then travel by car to DongGuan. It's kinda troublesome, but it takes only about 45mins to reach from either ShenZhen or Guangzhou. So it's kinda fast. And i stop at ShenZhen. Travelled by plane from Taipei and when i reached ShenZhen's airport, i thought why the plane stopped in the middle of a plane area. Then, ahuh!!! We must go down the steps and take a bus to the airport instead! And not walk through the "passage". (you know? the passage from the plane to the airport directly) So..yeah. And this is kinda like my first time travelling without someone who knows how to fill in those immigration forms. So when i reached the airport with my grandma, we were kinda lost as to what to fill in(we have to fill in the address but i dont know where we are staying!), especially when my grandma is illiterate. The pressure was kinda on me so i quickly call my mom who's still at taipei. And she doesn't know as well!!!!!!!! So she called back singapore to asked for the address but my uncle who booked the hotel was engaged on the phone! When i didn't hear from her after quite awhile, i just went to the custom to asked myself. LUCKILY!!!!! he said it's okay to pass even without the necessary address. And because of that, the driver who was supposed to pick us up at the airport waited for an hour plus! (oh yeah! not because of that too. It's also because the plane was delayed for 30mins due to some ground problem at taipei)

Then we went to the hotel and the hotel is like 200times better than that in taiwan!!! when the hotel here costs only bout S$50/night(& it's a 4 star hotel) as compared to the GRAND hotel in taipei(the one where it's like a chinese palace and it cost us about S$200/night)!!! It's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy different!!! After that, we went to eat and all. At night we went for foot massage/spa. It's really comfortable!!! They cleaned the feet for us and now it's all cleaned!!!Byt then it's already 11+pm.

Woke up at about 8.50+am today. Had breakfast and after that went Wal-Mart. And yesh! there's a Wal-Mart here in China. Bought some batteries and headed to Starbucks to have coffee, or rather iced signature chocolate. The thing is, it's about 20°C,not including wind, and we were all sitting outdoor drinking that cold drink! But i wasn't feeling cold, it's kinda weird. Afterwhich, went to my granduncle's apartment. And i must say, he's really doing well over here! He's bought 4units and got a factory running here. And almost everywhere we go, everyone seems to know him. That's cool isnt it?! But anyway, after that, we went to eat at this roast meat restaurant. Their roast duck and char siew is really nice and lotsa ppl goes there. Oh yes! when we were on our way to the store, we pass by this hair saloon. The staff were all standing in a straight row and the manager(i guess), was talking to them and 2 staff at the corner were being pumped!(i guess they must be late or sth) It's really strict huh?

After our meal, my grandma, grandaunt and her husb and granduncle went to this village where all the residents are by the surname of "Xie". I didn't join them as it's not my cup of tea and went on shopping with my granduncle's assistant. She brought me to this place called the "female street". It's something like bugis street. And the clothes there are HELL LOT CHEAPER!!! Wanted to buy a few more shirts and all, but the assistant wanted to bargain with the shopkeeper and when the shopkeeper doesnt want to reduce the price, she said don't buy and so, i had a few clothes lesser. I saw one wedges as well it's real beautiful! but too bad, their biggest size doesnt even fit my BIG FOOT! DUMB!!! Really fruitful day! (:

OH YES!!! I SAW JAY CHOU AT TAIPEI"S TAOYUAN AIRPORT!!!!!!!! I must say i'm really DUMB AND SLOW!!!!!!! Cos it's like this...my grandma wanted to go to the restroom and so i sat at a sofa opposite the restroom to wait for my grandma. While i was sitting, i was looking around and observing people. Then..i saw this guy who's wearing shades and was kinda cool! with a lady taking a LV tote dragging a red luggage. So i looked at the guy and my eyes followed his direction of walking. He, too, looked at me while walking down the aisle. I was like,"eh? this guy's side face look so familiar. did i see him before?" Then when he walked further, my brain processed abit and i suspected if he's Jay. After awhile, when he walked past the DFS, the staff were like getting excited. And immediately, i wanted to rush to him. But my grandma was still in the toilet. So i stood there. After a few sec, i could care much and rush towards his direction and then i saw my grandma walking out from the toilet. So i ran back again! I dragged my grandma and tol her i saw JAy. She was like..WHERE??? So i quickly run down and snap a few shots of him. Then when my grandma reached, she wanted to ask a photo with him but was too late as he's already trying to go to the waiting area. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm really angry with myself mann!!!

This whole situation is just like what Show luo said in his programme! I just cant stop thinking about it. This whole thing is too coincident!!!!!
