happy weekend

finally back at home on a sunday night. feeling really exhausted.
it's a pretty eventful weekend i had here this week.
why so??? well, lemme just start w friday...........

had my first Uni exam tt day at singapore expo! like major! HUGE GINORMOUS!!!
but having low expectations for tt cos...errr-hem! i wasnt really prepped.
see me nxt year lecturers!!!
aft which headed for kim hyun joong's fan meeting session plus concert at sis..cos mom got me free tix..
and asked hel to go as well..so we both got to shake his hands cos it's a hi5 session apparently.
and KHJ's like tall and smiley&cute. but not really my eyecandy sort. if only it's choi siwon from suju..i tell u..i'll melt!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Then rushed home to change into a tee and flipflops and headed to Bright Hill Temple at sin ming for vesak day ritual. It's the 3 Steps 1 KowTow thingy..(San Bu yi Gui(?))..and there's like super lotsa peeps!!!!! cars were parked everywhere along the road and all..then aunt had to park at a pretty far distance from the temple..i've never went for such vesak day rituals or whatsoever my whole life! tt day was my first and it's like woooahhh!!! totally eye opening and majestic stuff for me!

So we joined the Q for the san bu yi gui thing and we were there at bout midnight..and were held at this  huge aircon indoor buddha area..till bout 1+ we're asked to moved down to the outdoor area..the Q was major!!!!!! like uber long!!! then while we're out..we saw tt the sky was pretty orangey and cloudy..but i saw stars in the sky..and i told my aunt.."It won't rain for sure! cos there's stars in the sky! That's what u told me right? when there's stars in the sky it wont rain.."

Then she was like.."ya..but where's the stars? why i don't see it?"

Me:"There! so bright! up there!!!"

Aunt:"......."

Me"Aiya i think u cant see..only i can see. Cos i'm Jing jing..so i attract all the xing xings!!"

Then lightning started to strike across the sky and we hear thunder...till bout 2+am..when we're still in the Q to start the ritual..an announcement was made thru the PA system saying that due to the severity of the lightning of 6degree(or sth??)..they have to postpone it till half hour later and have to go under shelter..and if the lightning doesnt continue to be tt serious, we can continue to join back the Q. We were extremely disapppointed!!! but had no choice but to go under shelter. And i swear!!!!!! As soon as we stepped into shelter, it started POURING!!!!! Real real real bad!!!!! it's like blessing in a sense to us. We're really lucky! And by looking at the state of the sky, it's definitely gonna pour throughout the night! But we didn't bring any umbrella or whatever so we waited indoor while munching (ya..like forever eating..;P) on the free food they have for the participants..and sat on steps watching the rain pour! Pretty amazing experience to me at least. But i DISLIKEEEEEE the thunder and lightning part. Cos i really hate it and fear it! I hate the sound and the lightning was just horrible!! cos it's purple in color! >.< So we ended up borrowing an umbrella from some stranger to head bk to the car at managed to get home like 4+am? Long long night.. real disappointed i didnt get a chance to do the ritual. was all prepped..but..):

Then the next day was actual vesak day..woke up lateeeeee and headed back to Bright Hill Temple again to pray..now w my couzs and aunt..and it's closing time..and there's hardly anyone..kinda felt different from the previous night..kinda like "ghost town"..=/..and rushed off to kallang theatre for jayesslee concert!!!! :D

And it's realllllll awesomee!!! like sososos surreal! i'mma happy kid!!! have been watching them since 2/3 years ago on Youtube..finally got a chance to watch them live!!!!! Definitely worthy!!! And rushed home get changed and headed out to cycle again!!! 2 weekends of cycling!! happy happy!!! But ytd we cycled wayyy further...so satisfying!!! but the only thing was..there isnt any stars! ): Last week, there's a full fledge of stars in the sky!!!! REALLLL BEAUTIFUL!!! & did i mention i saw shooting stars too??? It's totally breath taking! I Couldnt believe my own eyes at all!!! but i totally saw it! Not a LIE!!!
